Israel Vows To Eliminate Any Successor To Iran’s Khamenei

The State of Israel on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, vowed that whoever Iran chooses as its new Supreme Leader would be “a target for elimination.”

This was disclosed in a statement by the Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz, who declared that “any leader” appointed by the Iranian regime will be “an unequivocal target for elimination.”

Katz further said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the Israel Defence Forces to “prepare and utilise all means to execute this mission.”

According to report by the Iranian local media, Mojtaba Khamenei, a son of late Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was named to succeed him.

On Tuesday, Israel struck a building of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, which elects the supreme leader.
