Israeli Military Strikes Kill Hezbollah Leader, Nasrallah
Following massive strikes on Beirut by Israeli on Friday, September 27, 2024, Hezbollah leader, Hassan Nasrallah was killed, the Israeli Defence Forces has said.
The IDF in its Twitter account post made just about 9.00am Nigerian time, said that “Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world”.
The bombardment on Friday followed what Israeli sources described as “precise intelligence” on the gathering of Hezbollah commanders at a location in Beirut.

The Israel military which did not say if Nasrallah was a target, however insisted that the strikes were directed at Hezbollah command and control centres and also at targeted ammunition depots.
The Israel’s military pointedly said that it carried out a “very accurate” strike on Hezbollah headquarters earlier, but was not specific if Nasrallah was the target
This was as it was gathered that the air strikes continued into Saturday morning in southern Beirut, with thick smoke rising over several locations in Dahieh, an area known to be seriously populated by Hezbollah.

The Israeli authorities insisted that its military strikes are being carried out to ensure that Hezbollah stop the attacks on Northern Israel, stressing that its mission is to ensure that the North of Israel is protected from attacks that escalated after the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
