Jimoh Ibrahim Backs Gov Akeredolu, Flaunts APC Membership

BY SEGUN ADEBAYO – Controversial politician cum business mogul, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim, at the weekend openly threw his weight behind the re-election bid of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to further confirm his membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

To display his new found romance with the ruling APC, Jimoh made a personal appearance at Saturday’s mega rally in support of the party’s candidate for the October 10, 2020 governorship poll.

Ibrahim, who until recently was a chieftain ofthe Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made good his public declaration for the APC when offered the microphone to address the huge crowd of party faithful and supporters at the rally.

The Ondo-born businessman said Akeredolu has done well in the last four years, and expressed confidence that the second term will give the people more to savour as dividends of democracy.

Praying that the election would be hitch-free and a success for APC, Jimoh said he has no regrets joining the ruling party at this stage.

Earlier, the businessman donated about 50 vehicles to Akeredolu’s Campaign Organisation (ACO) in aid of the governor’s ongoing statewide campaigns.
