The management of JKD TV Hamada Radio Network, has protested the invasion of its Television premises and the arrest of its General Manager, Mr. Charles Abah and a security personnel of the Station by men of the Nigeria Police Force.
The described the act as totally unacceptable and called for the immediate and unconditional release of the arrested General Manager and Security guard.
A statement by the management of the Station which was made available to Forefront News, stated that the arrested staff are presently being held at the State Police Command, Kaduna.
The statement further said that the policemen entered the premises of the station, insisting they wanted to see one of its staff – Zainab Salihu Yabagi, regarding a video explainer produced by JKD on Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs.
It stated that the video was presented by Zainab Yabagi.
The management of the JKD TV Hamada Radio Network further said that the freedoms of its General Manager and the security guard have been unjustly curtailed by persons working under the instructions of Masari.
