…Blames Tiv youths for condemning the army
BY AHMEH IDUJAGI, JALINGO – The Federation of Jukun Youths has castigated the Tiv Youths for joining issues with the Nigerian Army over the killing of the “most wanted criminal, Terwase Agwaza, alias Gana.
The youths, in a press statement signed by theie National President, Agbujoro Agya Agbujoro, said the killing of Gana, and his gang who have killed hundreds of innocent civilians was the best thing that has happened to Taraba and Benue states.
Agbujoro wondered why the Tiv Youths would condemn the killing instead of applauding the military for a job well done.
He lamented that in the past seven years, Gana and his gang of murderers, kidnapped and killed over 300 persons from Benue and Taraba states.
Agbujoro further said; “As far as we are concerned, Terwase Agwaza’s killing was a far-reaching success in the fight against banditry, kidnapping and terrorism in the country.”
The statement described the late Agwaza, as the “Most Wanted Criminal, who deserved to die as a common criminal,” and therefore advised the Tiv Youths to shun sentiments but think positively as true Nigerians.
The Jukun youths said faulting the Army for the giant stride was uncalled for thus urged the Tiv and other groups or individuals condemning the killing to urgently retract their comments, by throwing their weights behind the Army to flush out hoodlums from the aforementioned states and Nigeria at large.
