The construction giant stated this following its recognition with the 2026 Business Times Real Estate & Construction Excellence Award which was presented at the prestigious Business Times Award Ceremony.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Editorial Board of Business Times, Dada Ajai-Ikhile, noted that the award reflected Julius Berger’s transformational role in shaping Nigeria’s infrastructure landscape and improving the lives of millions of Nigerians.

He also said that the Award serves as more than a recognition platform as the organisation celebrates organizations and individuals who are building the future through excellence, innovation and impact.
According to him; “They inspire others, set industry standards, foster community development and honour the dedication that drives economic and social advancement,” he said, while congratulating Julius Berger and other award recipients.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Julius Berger, the Director of Administration, Dr. Abdulaziz Isa Kaita, described the company’s more than five decades of service to Nigeria as both a privilege and a responsibility.
Kaita said; “For more than five decades, Julius Berger has been privileged to contribute to Nigeria’s development. Across different regions of the country, we have delivered some of Nigeria’s most important and technically challenging infrastructure projects.
“Each project represents our unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, safety, sustainability and reliability,” Kaita said.
