JUST IN: Bandits Kill 2 Of Our Officers, Abduct 10 Others – FRSC

BY VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – Dare devil gunmen on Monday killed two personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and also abducted 10 others while on their way to the FRSC Academy, Udi, Enugu State.

This was confirmed in a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem, who said that the buses in which 26 personnel were traveling in were ambushed and  attacked at Udege junction, along Mararaban-Udege situated between Adoka in Nasarawa State at about 8am.

Kazeem said that the FRSC personnel were travelling from Sokoto and Kebbi States.

According to Kazeem; “One died during the attack while the second died in the hospital. Four were injured, eight escaped unhurt, and ten others kidnapped by the assailants.

Kazeem said the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, has reported the incident to the relevant authorities.
