BY SEGUN ADEBAYO – The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has clinched the party’s presidential ticket for the 2023 general elections.
Latest results from the polling boxes so far counted indicate that Tinubu has polled 1069 votes out of a total of 2,203 accredited votes in the exercise
His closest rivals are Rotimi Amaechi and Yemi Osinbajo who polled 316 votes and 235 votes respectively.
Others are Emeka Nwajuba – 1; David Umahi – 38; Tunde Bakare – 0; Ahmed Rufai Sani – 4; and Senate President, Ahmad Lawan – 152
