Less than 24 hours after armed bandits attacked a hospital in Zaria, the dare devils in early hours of Monday stormed Bethel Baptist School, Maraban Rido in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State and abducted an unspecified number of students.
A resident of the area, who craved for anonymity told Forefront News on phone that the deadly bandits invaded the school at about 2:00am shooting sporadically into the air before they kidnapped the students who were sleeping in their hostels.
He said four of the students managed to escape out of the many that were abducted According to him, *many students* were kidnapped but four escaped and ran back to the school.
It was also gathered that two soldiers were allegedly shot by the bandits but it could not be confirmed if they are alive or taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Kaduna State Government and the Police Command are yet to confirm the incident.
