According to compete insider sources, the decision to dump their party followed hours of meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Friday.

Those who attended the meeting included the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris; Sokoto State Governor, Ahmad Aliyu; and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu.
