BY SEGUN ADEBAYO, ABUJA – After spending 13 days in the kidnappers’ den, eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) that were abducted in Kaduna State last weekend have been released by their abductors.
The eight victims were abducted on March 26, 2021 along the Kachia-Kafanchan highway last Friday evening while travelling in their church’s bus.
The General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who confirmed the release of the eight members of his church on Thursday afternoon through his official Twitter handle said: “Today I got the exciting news that our brethren who were in captivity of kidnappers have all been released and taken to the Hospital for checkup and tests.
“Glory be to Jesus.”
