Kidnappers Free Jonathan’s Cousin After 13 Days In Captivity
After about 13 days in captivity, Jephthah Robert Yekorogha, the abducted cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan has finally regained freedom.
Jephthah, who is the elder brother to Azibola Robert, the Chief Executive Officer of Zeetin Engineering, was abducted on January 24, 2022, in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital.
Yekorogha’s release was confirmed on Monday in a tersely written statement by Austin Ekeinde, who is the Media Aide to Zeetin Engineering boss, Mr Robert.
The statement simply said; “We give all the thanks to God for the safe return of our brother Jephthah Robert Yekorogha, from the kidnappers’ den.”
Yekorogha was kidnapped in front of his residence at the Biogbolo-Epie, a suburb of Yenagoa by four heavily-armed gunmen, who ferried him to an unknown destination.
