Leah Sharibu Given Out To Another ISWAP Commander As Wife
Leah Sharibu, the Nigerian schoolgirl abducted by ISWAP terrorists in 2018 but, left behind by the negotiation team of former President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration for refusing to renounce her Christian faith has reportedly been forced to remarry another commander of the deadly Islamic terrorist group.
Sources close to some local security groups indicated that the development is coming on the heels of her alleged leaving the first man she was forcefully married to and for whom she bore two male children.
Leah, an under aged girl then was one of the 110 female pupils of the Government Girls’ Science and Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State, that were abducted on February 19, 2018, by members of the deadly Boko Haram terrorists.
Leah was the only Christian among the other students but, refused to renounce her Christian faith during her captivity with others thus, was left behind by the President Buhari negotiation team which brokered the release of the other abducted girls while another girl reportedly died during the captivity that lasted about one week.
Since 2018, Leah Sharibu has been held in captivity by members of the deadly Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
It was gathered that after the purported divorce from the first man she was forced to marry by name Abdulrahman, Leah has again been forced to remarry another commander of ISWAP in the Lake Chad area named Ali Abdallah.
According to one of the security sources; “Leah Sharibu was first married to Abdulrahman after she allegedly converted to Islam and they have two children, all boys that were named after two Boko Haram commanders that were killed in battle.
“We don’t know what transpired but, Leah Sharibu secured the divorce and has been married to another commander by name, Ali Abdallah”.
It was also gathered that after her abduction, Leah was “trained” on how to administer some medical services to injured Boko Haram fighters and women as part of the antics of the terrorists in forcing their captives with expertise in some areas like medicine, nursing, engineering, computer, among others to train their members in such areas.
