Nasarawa APC Governorship Candidate Expresses Confidence In INEC

BY BABA AHMED LAFIA – The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Nasarawa state, Engr. Abdullahi Sule has expressed confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), over the conduct of Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state.
Sule, who voted at the Motor park polling unit 002 in Gudi area of Akwanga, commended INEC for the smooth conduct of the polls just as he expressed delight with the massive turnout of voters for the exercise.
He said that the turnout is an indication of the peoples’ willingness to contribute in determining their leaders.
He particularly expressed happiness that voting went on smoothly in spite of the initial setback caused by the delay in the arrival of electoral materials.
Sule commended the patience and resilience of the people and urged them to sustain the peace even after the elections.
The APC governorship candidate appealed to the people to also turnout enmasse during the March 9, 2019 governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections.
