Nasarawa Police Command Mobilizes Hunters, Others To Rescue Kidnapped State CAN Chairman

BY AHMED TUKUR, LAFIA – The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the kidnapped of Bishop Joseph Masin, State chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in his residence in Lafia.
The Commissioner of Police for Nasarawa State, Bola Longe, who confirmed the incidence to newsmen on Thursday in Lafia, said the command has already mobilesed hunters, operation Nasarawa, SARS and others to ensure that the CAN chairman is rescued.
Longe said the Bishop was abducted by the gunmen who stormed his residence situated in Bukan-sidi in Lafia Metropolis around 12.30am on Thursday.

But family sources told Forefront News that the Bishop was abducted by the gunman at about 12 midnight from his Bukan-sidi residence on motorcycle.
One of the sources however said that even though nobody was hurt during the incident, the family was traumatized.
