The North Central Development Commission (NCDC), is focused on deriving tangible economic value for the people of the zone through targeted projects, infrastructure renewal, and human capital development.
Managing Director of the NCDC, Dr. Cyril Tsenyil, who stated the position of the Commission, also assured of his commitment to delivering on the core objectives of the Commission in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Dr. Tsenyil, who noted that the establishment of the NCDC included strategic intervention for the North Central region, said the commission under his leadership will not be a bureaucratic entity, but a results-driven institution committed to transparency, accountability, and measurable impact.
He said; “Our mandate is clear; to drive sustainable development across the North Central states. We are aligning every program and policy with Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda to ensure that the impact of this newly created commission is felt in agriculture, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and security”.
Tsenyil also said that the NCDC is prioritizing partnerships with state governments, development agencies, and the private sector to unlock the economic potential of the region and fast-track regional integration.
