The President of the Nigeria Archery Federation (NAF), Malam Muhammed Abdullahi has been elected as the Vice President of the Africa Archery Federation (AAF).
The election, held in Pretoria, South Africa, saw Abdullahi defeating his opponent from Cote d’Ivoire by 18 votes to three (3).
At the African Archery Federation Congress, held in Pretoria, South Africa, Abdullahi by virtue of his emergence as one of the vice presidents of the African federation, also emerged as the President of the West and Central Africa Archery Federations.
This followed the division into various zones by the Continental body.
With the victory, the ebullient Abdullahi has made history as the first Nigerian to become the vice president of the Africa Archery Federation, as well as president of West and Central African federations.
