Established about two years ago, TAJBank Limited received the license from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to operate as a regional bank in 2019.
It thereafter commenced business operations with offices and branches in Abuja on December 2, 2019. In the process of expanding to other urban centers across the country, the second branch was opened in Kano on December 12, 2019.
Further pursuing the expansion programme, TAJXPRESS, the bank’s full-service financial inclusion suite was launched as a part of its drive to significantly boost financial inclusion in Nigeria.
This is as the bank opened its third branch on August 24, 2020, in Sokoto State.
