Plateau: Gunmen Storm Mangu, Abduct Gindiri Paramount Ruler
Gunmen suspected to be bandits in the early hours of Sunday forcefully abducted the Paramount Ruler of Gindiri, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, the Sum Pyam, Mr Charles Mato Dakat from his residence.
It was gathered that the gunmen who stormed the palace at about 1:30am succeeded in gaining entrance to the traditional Ruler’s residence after exchange of gunfire before taking the paramount Ruler away.
As at the time of this report, it was not certain the direction the gunmen followed after successfully abducting Chief Domkat.
The Plateau State command of the Nigeria Police is yet to comment on the development.
