Police Arrest Kidnap Kingpin In South-south, John Lyon In Abuja
One of the most wanted kidnap kingpin in Bayelsa State and known as one of “Abuja Big Boys” John Lyon popularly called IK, has been arrested by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command.
John Lyon’s arrest was effected on Saturday, September 24, 2022 after an unsuccessful operation.
Lyon, who was believed to have terrorized Bayelsa state, was nabbed after the police tracked him to Abuja.
John Lyon was well known in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital, for his flamboyant lifestyle.
In a video clip, John Lyon was on shot knickers kneeling down with hands cuffed, admitted that he belongs to a kidnap gang, but claimed that he only participated in the kidnap of two persons before his arrest.
The arrested kidnap kingpin while pleading for mercy, said that his wife had just put to bed.
