Police Intensify Efforts On Arrest, Probe Of Wanted Peace Robert, Clears Udom
The Nigeria Police Force on Tuesday said that they have intensified efforts to bring to book one of its wanted suspects, one Peace Ekom Robert, who is still at large.
The police said it has however cleared the second suspect Ndiana Udom, who came forward and cooperated with its team of investigators, adding that after thorough questioning and investigation, Udom was cleared and exonerated in the said matter under investigation.
These were contained in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in which he stated that the police wished to provide the update on the ongoing investigation regarding the recent declaration of the duo of Ndiana Abasi Idongesit Udom ‘m’ and Peace Ekom Robert ‘f’ wanted on July 22nd, 2023, in the media and through its official social media platforms.
Adejobi said the Police appreciated the cooperation of Udom and commended his commitment in that regard and look forward to further cooperation from him if required in the course of the said investigations.
The police urged anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Peace Ekom Robert to come forward and assist the police in this matter.
Adejobi further said; “The Nigeria Police is committed to embracing modern and rule-of-law-compliant means of investigating cases so as to have fairness and maintain justice in all ramifications.
“We therefore wish to appreciate the support and cooperation of the public as we work together to maintain peace, unity, and progress, and uphold the rule of law in Nigeria”.
