The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, Garba Baba Umar has paraded suspected armed robbers, kidnappers and cult members arrested in the State.
Among the suspects paraded include a six-man gang responsible for attacking and killing of Policemen on motorcycles around Onitsha.
Mr Umar said the Force was ready and determined to rid the state of criminals even as he assured that those already arrested would be made to face the full wrath of the law to serve as a deterrent to other criminal elements.
Also, the Police Commissioner has met with his management team to strategize towards ensuring the successful conduct and hitch free gubernatorial election in Anambra State slated for November 18, 2017.
In attendance at the Strategy planning meeting were all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and Sectional Commanders in the State.
The Police boss also spoke on the progress of work at the on-going construction of transit camp and public toilets at the State Command headquarters which has reached about 90 per cent completion.
He said that when completed and commissioned, the facility would ease the problems of accommodation for the visiting Police mobile units and personnel convenience at the Command headquarters.
