The All Progressives Congress (APC), Kano State chapter in has accused the Presidency of undermining and conspiring against the suspended National Chairman of the Party, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Spokesman of the APC in Kano State, Alhaji Ahmad Aruwa, who stated this in a short video he produced and circulating in the social media, specifically said that some powerful forces within the Presidency are pushing for the exit of the Dr Ganduje as National chairman of the APC.

Aruwa noted that the powerful individuals are seriously engaged in different conspiracies deliberately aimed at sabotaging Ganduje’s position as National Chairman with the intention of destroying his relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Kano APC spokesman therefore warned of consequential danger and political upheaval if the powers that be within the Presidency desirous of kicking Ganduje out of office succeed, saying that it should be noted that Ganduje remains one of the pillars of President Tinubu’s successs in the 2023 election.

In the words of Aruwa; “We will confront anyone within the APC who dares to challenge Ganduje, regardless of their status or political influence. We will not tolerate any subversion at the Villa.

“If anyone dares confront Ganduje within the APC, it would lead to a substantial political crisis which we are very ready to fight back, irrespective of the individual’s identity.

“We are aware of the plotting and machinations orchestrated by certain APC members at the Villa.

“It was solely Ganduje, who facilitated Tinubu’s presence in Kano when there was a lack of support from others. Every resident of Kano was refraining from associating with Tinubu, as those within the APC who are acquainted with him were distancing themselves due to Buhari’s influence,” he said.

Aruwa also lashed President Tinubu for disregarding the support extended to him in Kano when others rejected him, adding that no one in Kano, supportted Tinubu’s cause like Ganduje, who was the sole architect of his success in the state.

Information pieced together by Forefront News indicated that Ganduje’s travails started following his failure to abide with clear directives to ensure that he create acceptable atmosphere for the return of the Presidential candidate of the NNPP, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Governor Abba Yusuf to the APC.

It was further gathered that rather than comply with the presidential directive, Ganduje opted to use derogatory words at the duo at a stakeholders meeting, a development that further widened the political gulf between the suspended National Chairman of the APC and Governor Yusuf as well as Kwankwaso.

Further negotiation were therefore rebuffed by Kwankwaso and Governor Yusuf as both insisted that they can only return to the APC only when Ganduje is no longer in-charge of the leadership of the Party.
