Presidency Disowns Ministerial List, Portfolios
The Presidency has denied knowledge of the list of Ministers-Designate with assigned Portfolios being circulated on social media.
In urging Nigerians to disregard any such list, the Presidency maintained that “it does not emanate from President Muhammadu Buhari”.
Disowning the list on behalf of the President Buhari, his Personal Assistant to on New Media, Bashir Hamad said; “Someone makes a list of Ministers-Designate and assigned portfolio for them.
According to Hamad, who stated this position on his official twitter handle; *DISREGARD any list pls. Portfolio will be announced by Mr. President after their inauguration as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
Against the backdrop of Hamad’s deniaI, sourced hinted the Presidency may have jolted by the development given that Mr President and his henchmen are still keeping the portfolios’ distribution close to their chests.
One of the insiders however volunteered that hopefully all the suspense and secrecy over the Ministers and their assigned responsibilities would be laid to rest by next week when the President expectedly inaugurates the new cabinet.
