President Buhari Officially Names Amaechi As DG Campaign Organisation

BY AMOS DUNIA, ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari has announced the appointment of a campaign organization for his 2019 re-election.

A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu said the minister of Transport, Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is to head the campaign team as Secretary/Director General.

Amaechi was the Director General of the Buhari-Osinbajo Presidential Campaign Committee in 2014-2015 that won the elections that brought the present administration into office.

The statement further said that the appointed Director General will announce other appointments into the campaign structure as approved by President Buhari.
