President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated and rejoiced with former Governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Ogbonnia Nnamani on his 65th birthday.
In a message of felicitation to Senator Nnamani on the occasion of his birthday which was celebrated today, Friday, May 30, 2025, President Tinubu commended the former governor’s enduring contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey.
Tinubu, particularly noted the remarkable service of Nnamani as Governor of Enugu State from 1999 to 2007 and his membership of the Southern Governors Forum.
The President also noted that the reforms Nnamani championed in healthcare, education, and infrastructure left a lasting legacy on the state and significantly improved its people’s lives.
A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, said that President Tinubu particularly acknowledged Senator Nnamani’s unwavering commitment to national unity, dialogue, and development, as well as his intellectual depth and medical expertise, which have continued to enrich Nigeria’s policy evolution.
In the words of Tinubu; “As you mark this milestone, I wish you good health, renewed strength, and more years of fruitful service to the nation”.
