President Bola Ahmed Tinubu departed Abuja for Paris, the French capital on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 on a private visit.
This was contained in a terse statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
Ngelale did not however disclose the purpose of the visit but stated that President Tinubu will return to the country in the first week of February 2024.
President Tinubu’s first official visit as President of Nigeria to Paris was in June 2023, when he attended the two-day Global Financing Summit convened by President Emmanuel Macron.
The trip of the President marked his third visit to France since assuming office.
