Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has expressed sympathy with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the slip at the Eagles Square during the 2024 Democracy Day celebration on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
While reacting to the unfortunate incident at the Eagle Square, Atiku said; “I hope all is well”.
President Tinubu on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Eagle Square, Abuja slipped while boarding a presidential parade vehicle to inspect a parade by members of the Armed Forces and para-military organisations.
The President who was quickly assisted by his Aide-de-Camp and other aides back on his feet however, regained his balance and continued with the proceedings without further issues.
Atiku while expressing his sympathy on his X handle, said that he sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day.
“I do hope that all is well with him,” he wrote.
