Probe Rev. Azzaman’s Death – CRA Urges President Tinubu
The Christian Rights Agenda (CRA), has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to institute an independent investigation into the remote and immediate circumstances that led to the death of renown Christian cleric, Reverend David Ayuba Azzaman of Kings Worship Chapel and Ministries, Kaduna.
CRA stressed that based on report from sources at the scene of the purported road accident that killed Rev Azzaman at the weekend leaves a lot to be desired.
It noted that still photographs of the late Rev Azzaman’s Peugeot 406 car, which is all over the internet, showed a major impact on the passenger side of the vehicle thus, called to question how the driver died instantly as reported.
The CRA in a statement by Reverend Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa, Secretary Genera, stressed that it believes that an independent investigation will lay to rest every doubt and suspicion created by reports of the fatal car crash.
Dikwa said that the highly Rev Azzaman, who died on Saturday in a purported motor accident on his way from Makurdi to Kaduna after a crusade was outspoken and a defender of the Christian faith.
Dikwa said the CRA joined millions of Christians in Nigeria and across the world to mourn the transition to glory of Rev Azzaman, who was until his death a defender of the faith.
The CRA described the late Rev Azzaman as a worthy soldier of the cross who dedicated his life and time to the service of God and advancement of His kingdom.
It also noted that Azzaman was a fearless, courageous man of God who defended the Christian faith in the North and Nigeria at large.
The CRA said that even though the news of the death of Rev Azzaman came with a rude shock, it has resolved to continue to propagate and defend the message of our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, which is unshakeable.
In the words of the CRA; “And for those who rejoice the passage unto Glory of our dearly beloved brother, as seen across social media by people of other faith, we are comforted that he has completed his assignment on this planet and that every mortal shall taste of death.
“We call on Christians, especially evangelists, preachers and pastors not to be discouraged by the transition to glory of Reverend Azzaman but should continue the work of the cross for he has finished his race and a crown of glory awaits him,” it said.
The CRA prayed for his soul to find rest eternally in the bosom of the Lord.
