Rabat Ready To Host 2025 CAF Awards On November 19

  • As 10 nominees battle for Africa’s top football honours

BY VICTOR OSOWOCHI – Rabat, the capital city of Morocco will on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, host the 2025 edition of the CAF Awards to honour the top performers in the round leather game from the previous year.

This is as the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) confirmed that the 2025 Awards ceremony will commence at 19h00 local time, 18h00 GMT, and 20h00 Cairo time on the scheduled date.

According to the Continent’s football governing body, these Awards are packaged to celebrate African players and coaches whose performances for Club and Country have set them apart from their peers.

Also on line for honour are Clubsides and National teams that have enjoyed an exceptional outing in the period under review.

Listed among the awards are:

– CAF African Player of the Year (Women) 2025
– CAF African Player of the Year (Men) 2025
– CAF Coach of the Year (men and women) 2025
– National Team of the Year (Men and Women) 2025
– Club of the Year (men and women) 2025
– CAF Young Player of the Year 2025

The nominees for CAF African Player of the Year in the Men’s and the Women’s categories have already been announced.

MEN’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR
The impact of players on the African and global game has been immense for the period under consideration of 6 January to 15 October 2025.

The 10 nominees for this Award came from a panel of experts comprising CAF Technical and Development Committee members, experienced coaches, CAF Legends and selected media representatives who considered the players’ performance and major contributions to football on the continent.
