Security Situation Room Applauds Promotion of Members By PSC
Nigeria’s Foremost Security Online Tracking Platform, the ‘Security Situation Room (SSR), has expressed delight in the promotion of two of its members namely, the AIG Zone 13, Bauchi, Sylvester Abiodun Alabi to Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) and Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
The SSR while congratulating the two members, said that it had no doubt whatsoever that they would bring their wealth of knowledge and unassailable pedigree to bare in their new ranks which will be accompanied by additional responsibilities.
A statement by the convener of the SSR, Mr. Douglas Ogbankwa Esq., said that the organisation was delighted to share in the promotion of the two of its members who are trail blazers in their respective departments in police business in Nigeria.
Ogbankwa further said; “Security Situation Room has felicitated with two of its members on their recent promotions by the Police Service Commission. AIG Zone 13, Bauchi -DIG designate Sylvester Abiodun Alabi was promoted to the Position of a Deputy Inspector General of Police, a member of Police High Command Management Team, while the Force Public Relations Officer – ACP designate, Muyiwa Adejobi was promoted to the position of an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
“Both DIG Designate Sylvester Abiodun Alabi and AC designate Olumuyiwa Adejobi have both played strategic roles in police business in Nigeria in the last few years and still counting.
“While DIG Designate Sylvester Abiodun Alabi-the former CP Lagos State Police Command and AIG Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, is a thorough bred police officer with an unusual knack for crisis management and zero tolerance for indiscretions among officers and men under his command, ACP designate, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, is a quintessential image maker who is accessible to critical stakeholders in the Public Relations and Public Communications matrix of policing in Nigeria.
“We pray that God give you the wisdom and understanding to navigate the labyrinth like milieu of policing at the level you are. We have no doubt in our minds that you will bring about new vistas, to enhance policing in the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.
The SSR particularly thanked the Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Dr Solomon Arase for the consistency in keeping with the mandate of the Commission which he noted has brought about a positive resurgence in the activities of the Commission.
