Shocking! Army Corporal Kills 4 Colleagues, Injures Two Others in Operation Lafiya Dole 

BY VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – The Nigerian Army headquarters on Wednesday announced that one of its men serving at the Theatre Command Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Army Super Camp 15, located at Malam Fatori went berserk in early hours of 26 February 2020.

It said that the Corporal opened fire killing four of his colleagues before shooting himself, adding that two other of his colleagues were injured during the unfortunate incident.

A statement by the Army Acting Director, Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa said that the two injured soldiers are currently in stable condition in the hospital in Maiduguri.

Musa said that efforts are ongoing to contact the families of the gallant soldiers who paid the supreme price in the line of duty and pray that their gentle souls rest in peace. 

The Army spokesman said that investigation into the case has since been instituted to determine the circumstances that led to the unfortunate incident.
