BY ISRAEL BULUS, KADUNA – Former Minister of Aviation, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, has identified the lack of unity as the major bane of the southern part of Kaduna State.
Fani-Kayode, who was represented by Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba, spoke at the weekend at a Dinner organised as part of activities to mark the 19th Southern Kaduna Annual Prayer Summit held at New Choice Hotel Kafanchan.

Fani-Kayode said; “I commend the sense of unity demonstrated during the general elections in 2019; you must build up on that.”
He noted that Christians in the state had not received a fair share of appointments and projects, and therefore tasked the people of the region to unite and continue to speak as one voice in all that concerns them.

Also speaking, Mr Jonathan Asake, President of the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU), stressed the need for the people to continually seek God’s divine intervention in the affairs of Kaduna State and the Nation.
Asake urged the people of the region to shun ethnicity and differences that had kept them divided.
Former Sure-P boss, Mr. Dare Akau in his goodwill message said, Southern Kaduna has been an object and subject of tyranny right from time, stressing that despite the subjection, marginalization and attacks on the region, the Southern part has never been broken and defeated in any way.
