The Spiritual Father and Chairman of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide (AYO NI O), His Grace, Reverend Samuel Abidoye, has said that every Nigerian has a big role to play towards arresting the wave of all forms of criminalities in the country.
Rev. Abidoye said this can be achieved by being more security conscious and by giving vital information to the security agencies.
The spiritual father, who stated these at the International Headquarters of the Church, Galilee Land, Orile Igbon while responding to questions posed to him by members of the Media Advisory Board of the Conference on Saturday, said the security challenges confronting the country has gone beyond the powers of the Security apparatus hence the need for the people to rise up to the challenges by assisting government at all levels and the Security with vital information to tackle the situation headlong.
He called on the government to find lasting solutions to the spate of kidnappings, banditry and other forms of criminality in the country, adding that Nigerians are no longer safe both day and night in their own country.
The man of God equally urged the federal government to look into youth restiveness, poverty eradication, hunger and other forms of hardship facing the citizens.
The Cleric noted that most Nigerians now find it difficult to eat three square meals per day and thereby called on the government to address the “stomach issue” immediately.
He said; “Prices of foodstuffs and other essential commodities have escalated beyond the reach of the common man across the country. The situation has even gone beyond the common man because the rich also cry now”.
Abidoye applauded members of the Board for their role in propagating the image of the Church and urged them to do more especially towards winning more souls into the fold.
In his remarks, the Vice Chairman of the Board, Special Apostle Wole Mosadomi, said construction work would soon commence on the multimillion Naira Media Center at the International Centre of the Church at Galilee, Orile Igbon, via Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
He said that the Centre would be equipped with modern broadcasting equipment, adding that a documentary on the Church has also reached advanced stage, saying that the project is aimed at showcasing the formation, past, present and future of Cherubim and Seraphim Church Worldwide.
Highlight of the visit was the presentation of a proposal for the establishment of CSMC Radio Station.
