Still In Valentine Mood: Ondo First Lady, Reunites With husband

One year after her husband emerged as governor of Ondo State, the First Lady of the State and wife of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa has returned to the state to join her husband.

It was gathered that Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, left the State following alleged frosty relationship between her and the husband.

Her return which erupted into wild jubilation and celebration after months of speculations surrounding her possible come back as a result of reported appeals and interventions by some concerned family members and friends.

Accordingly, the Ondo State First Lady made a dramatic return to the Government House on Saturday, February 15, 2025 and joined a ceremony that was put together for the niece of her husband at the Government House Chapel, Akure, the Ondo State capital.

It was gathered from a source at the event that as soon as the First Lady stepped into the Chapel, everyone present applauded in joy just as the officiating priest, paused upon sighting her and announced her presence saying; “let me welcome the First Lady, Her Excellency, Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa”. Expectedly, the remark drew thunderous applause from the congregation.

Mrs Oluwaseun was believed to have left the state when her husband was serving as the deputy governor as a result of a strained spousal relationship.

As a result of the frosty relationship, some key leaders in state made concerted efforts to reconcile the couple which eventually yielded positive results that also led to her appearance ahead of the inauguration of her husband scheduled for February 24, 2024.
