Carrying the heavy burden of amplifying Nigerians’ growing concerns over biting insecurity in the country, General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, says terrorists and their sponsors are unfit to see year 2021 unless they repent from their wicked ways,
Consequently, he warned that the wrath of God will visit all unpatriotic elements within a stipulated time for their heinous activities and crimes against humanity.
“Every terrorists and every sponsor of terrorists in Nigeria would not see the New Year,” Pastor Adeboye declared at the Special Monthly Thanksgiving service to mark Nigeria’s 60th Independence at RCCG headquarters, Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, Lagos on Sunday,
He also cautioned those that delight in choking Nigeria to death and embezzling public funds meant to improve the country to urgently have a rethink or be ready for the unexpected in their lives.
Pastor Adeboye further warned that countries pretending to love Nigeria but are plotting to destroy her must stop their insidious and myopic tendencies to avoid incurring the wrath of God Almighty.
The respected Clergyman, who spoke on the theme: “Let God Arise”, said though merciful, God would deal with the wicked to protect and preserve those that are His children.
“There are some people buying weapons for those that are carrying guns who are causing havoc here and there and there are also some nations that are befriending our nation that are not truly our friend, who want us to borrow money so much that we would not be able to repay, knowing fully well that an average borrower would be the servant of the lender as long as he remains a debtor” Papa Adeboye noted
According to him; “These enemy nations manufacture guns, bullets and rejoice when we have problem so that we can come and buy guns and bullets to kill our people.”
In lamenting the nation’s poor conditions after 60 years of independence, the RCCG General Overseer asked God to arise and end the stagnation in the polity.
He however said that despite the challenges, Nigeria has reasons to thank God at 60, maintaining that; “if not for God, what will Nigeria be saying now?
“The experts expect us to be dying like chicken but God did not allow it to happen.”
