BY VICTOR BUORO – The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa says the Nigerian Military will not forgive the terrorists who took the lives of soldiers in Niger State recently.
Consequently, all military commanders and troops in the country have been directed to avenge the death of their colleagues by reining in the terrorists on all fronts.
Speaking at the burial of military personnel killed by bandits in Niger State on Friday, the Defence Chief vowed that those responsible for the deaths of the personnel would pay for it at all cost.
According to him; “When you have to bury your own, you feel very pained. I want to assure the families that their deaths are not in vain.
“We appreciate them. We will ensure those who did this must pay for this. I use this opportunity to call on all commanders and troops all over Nigeria that we must avenge this.
“Those who did this and those who continue to kill our men wherever they are we will smoke them out”.
General Musa promised that the military would hunt down all bandits, and terrorists as well as other criminal elements that are currently operating across the country.
