Tinubu Approves Seven Executive Directors For NTA
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of seven Executive Directors for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy listed the Executive Directors as: Ayo Adewuyi – Reappointed Executive Director, News; Barrister Ibrahim Aliyu – Executive Director, Special Duties who is a Legal Practitioner; and Malam Muhammed Fatuhu Mustapha – Executive Director, Administration and Training.
Others include Mrs Apinke Effiong – Executive Director, Finance. She is an expert in financial marketing with treasury, management accounting and reporting skills; Mrs Tari Taylaur – Executive Director, Programme, an audio/visual creator, producer and showrunner; Mr Sadique Musa Omeiza – Executive Director, Engineering; and Mrs Oluwakemi Fashina – Executive Director, Marketing, who is an integrated marketing communications professional and chartered marketer.
According to the Presidential aide, the appointments take immediate effect, adding that President Tinubu has charged the appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear on the operations of the national broadcast station.
Onanuga said the President wants them to particularly scale up NTA’s operations to be competitive and meet the global digital standards.
