Tinubu Is Great Grandpa, Atiku Grandpa, Obi Father – ADC Presidential Candidate, Kachikwu Says
The Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mr Dumebi Kachikwu, has described the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a great grandfather who is not in a position to offer what he does not have
Kachikwu also referred to the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and that of Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi as grandfather and father respectively.
The ADC flag bearer, who stated these during a panel session for leading presidential candidates for the 2023 General Elections at the Annual General Conference (AGC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), taking place in Lagos, pointedly said that the three leading presidential candidates cannot give what they don’t have.
According to him; “If the panel session on Democratic Transitions in 21st Century Nigeria go on for another five hours, the other candidates will not be able to proffer any solution to the issues plaguing the nation. They cannot give what they don’t have”.
Kachikwu said that what the nation needed at this material time is to seriously focus on strategic exports to boost her dollar earnings.
A statement by the media office for his presidential campaign organisation, quoted Kachikwu as having said that legal, engineering, architectural and other services could be sold over the internet to people all over the world.
The ADC presidential candidate express regret that schools in the nation’s capital, Abuja would be shut down owing to escalating security issues in spite of the fact the President lives in Abuja and therefore wondered what part of Nigeria could then be considered safe, since the seat of the federal government appears beset by severe insecurity.
Kachikwu therefore called on Nigerians to emulate the NBA and boldly go in a different direction in the 2023 General Elections by electing a young and dynamic candidate as president.
He noted that this was exactly what the NBA has done by electing young Olumide Akpata two years ago and has now reaped the rewards of youthful innovation.
