I Challenge Tinubu To Make Public, Result Of His Medical Checkup – Prof. Utomi
A chieftain of the Labour Party, Professor Pat Utomi, has challenged the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu to declare the result of the level of his medical fitness after going for a checkup.
Utomi, who threw the challenge on Monday evening when he featured on Channels Television political programme: ‘Politics Today’, pointedly said that Tinubu is not medically fit for the presidency of Nigeria.
The professor of Economy, noted that the 2023 elections is about lives of Nigerians, stressing that Nigeria has suffered so much from having ailing leaders, saying that that was why the Vice President should have been allowed to step up.
He further said that the APC made a serious mistake by not fielding another candidate in the person of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who he noted would have been a better candidate.
In the words of Utomi; “The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo would have been a fit person. You can see that Tinubu is ailing. Common, let’s not kill ourselves, let’s be honest.
“American Presidents go through medicals that are made public. Let him (Tinubu) go for medicals with Nigerian doctors up in the hospital and make it public. It is the life of millions of people that we are dealing with,” he stressed.
