BY VICTOR OSOWOCHI – Former Miss Nigeria Football Queen, Tracy Solomon, has emerged the FACE OF NIGERIA 2020/2021 beauty queen.

Face Of Nigeria project is an live pageant that holds annually. However, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the grand finale of this year’s edition was conducted through Zoom meeting.

With over a 100 contestants on parade, the event featured five assigned tasks from the preliminaries to the final stage.

A six-time beauty queen, Tracy Solomon, who hails from Cross River State, is a graduate of Nasarawa State University.

In a chat with reporters after emerging victorious from the contest, Tracy said; “It was like a tussle of power in which I contested against over one hundred participants. I was afraid at the beginning when I saw the contestants and how competitive it was with over five task-assignment before the final one. But I reminded myself that I can do it.”

“I’m officially the winner FACE OF NIGERIA 2020/2021. I want to thank everyone who cheered me on during the contest. Thank you friends and family for showing up and being there for me all through the contest.

“To the Face of Nigeria Organization @ Face of Nigeria, thank you for believing in me and giving me your cause. I will never take it for granted.

“My utmost gratitude is to God Almighty who willed this Victory. I will reign knowing I have the best people behind me. I love you all.”

According to her, “My main goal is to use my office to impact lives and the society. I will soon be embarking on my pet projects.”

On her future plans, the new beauty queen said; “My pet projects will focus on developing child education in the rural communities and also leading a campaign tagged; ‘Kick Against Rape’ in all 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).”
