BY AMOS TAUNA, KADUNA – Four persons have allegedly been murdered by unidentified gunmen in Bakin Kogi in Jema’a local government area of Kaduna State.
According to a competent source, the four persons killed were palm wine tappers that only reside in the area doing their daily business.
The source stated that the victims were attacked and murdered in the bush while they were busy tapping the palm wine.
Forefront reliably gathered that though inhabitants of Bakin Kogi community, scene of the dastardly act are in mourning mood, the area is relatively calm with the people seen going about normal business.
The corpses of the four persons, the source said, are currently in police custody while security has been beefed up in the area.
