Vice President Osinbajo Survives Helicopter Crash Near Kabba, Kogi State

It was fortunate and great day for Vice President Yomi Osinbajo on Saturday as he survived in a Presidential fleet helicopter that crashed near Kabba in Kogi state.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known but a Presidency source said the helicopter which was on one of its routine assignments was assigned to convey Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for an official assignemnt.

It was also gathered the Vice President was in company of his brother and other occupants in the helicopter when it crashed.

Forefront News gathered that the Presidential helicopter is a six seater carrier.

There was however no casualty as everyone on board the helicopter survived.

This is just as the Presidency source said there is no indication of any sabotage or anything extra-ordinary with regards to the crashed helicopter, adding that the cause of the crash will be determined by experts that would be constituted to carry out thorough investigation on possible cause.
