Wanted Monarch Over Soldiers’ Killing In Delta, Submits Self To Police

The traditional ruler of Ewu Kingdom, King Ikolo Clement who was declared wanted by the Nigerian Army has surrendered to the police.

King Ikolo Clement, who was recently installed as the traditional ruler of Ewu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, was among the eight persons declared wanted by the headquarters of the Nigerian Army over the killings of 17 soldiers on March 14, 2024 at Okuama Community in Delta State.

Others declared wanted by the military high command included, suspected militant leader, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbono, also known as Amagbein, who soldiers tracked to the Igbomoturu community in Southern-Ijaw Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, few days after the incident, but missed him and the President General of Ewu, Prof Ekpekpo Arthur and Reuben Baru, the young man who made a viral video in which he narrated why they killed the soldiers.

Equally declared wanted by the military was Igoli Ebi, believed to be the mother of one of the wanted persons. Atata Malaw David, and one Sinclear Oliki suspected to be part of the Amagbein gang.
