Wanted Terrorist, Turji Is Moving From One Hideout To Another – Army Says

The Nigerian Army has said that its troops have been actively pursuing the wanted terrorist, Bello Turji, who remained at large.

The Army in a statement on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, by Lt.-Col. Abubakar Abdullahi, Coordinator, Joint Media Coordinating Centre to the operation of the Joint Task Force Operation Fansan Yamma in Zamfara State, said that Turji has been evading capture by moving from hideout to hideout.

Col Abdullahi assure members of the public that the troops are working tirelessly to apprehend the terrorists’ kingpin as part of the military’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of communities.

The statement said; “We deeply appreciate the public concern regarding this matter and urge locals to sustain their support and cooperation by providing credible information that may assist in arresting him”.
