We’ll Abide By Court Ruling On Plateau – PDP
BY GRACE ANYANWU, ABUJA – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that it would abide by the ruling of the Plateau State High Court, presided over by Justice S. Gang, with regard to issues affecting the party in the state.
In a statement by its Nationl Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP said that as a law-abiding party, it received the decision of the court in the spirit of collective effort to deepen national democratic process and strengthen the party for the task ahead.
Ologbondiyan said that the national leadership of the party therefore urged all of its members and teeming supporters to remain calm and continue to work together in the usual spirit of sportsmanship, particularly as it work hard for the success of the party in the forthcoming Senatorial bye-election in the state.
The PDP said this is especially as the people of Plateau state and indeed, the nation at large, are looking up to the party at all levels to rescue the nation from the misrule of the APC.
