The Federal Government on Monday, July 15, 2024 announced that an agreement has been reached between it and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) allowing for the resumption of travel for Nigerian passport holders.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mr Mohammed Idris, who announced this in a statement, said the development followed successful talks and extensive, mutually beneficial negotiations between the Government of the UAE and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Idris said the agreement included updated controls and conditions to facilitate obtaining a UAE visa, adding that the resumption of visas will be effective from July 15, 2024.
