Russia-bound Nigeria’s Super Eagles will have a full complement of players in London, the United Kingdom when they confront the Three Lions of England on Saturday in their last tune-up match before the Mundial.

This is even as Coach Gernot Rohr has dropped four players from his Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup squad. The casualty list include: Uche Agbo, Stephen Eze, Dele Ajiboye and Junior Lokosa

The team, which left the shores of Nigeria on Wednesday afternoon, is having its final preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup that flags off on June 14.

After the England clash on June 2, the Eagles will move to Austria before landing in Russia for their World Cup opener against Croatia on June 16 inside the resplendent Kaliningrad Stadium.

NFF.com reports that Eagles’ Captain, Mikel John Obi was joined on a chartered flight from Abuja to London on Wednesday  by deputy skipper Ogenyi Onazi, defender Kenneth Omeruo, pacy winger Ahmed Musa and 21 other players.

Mikel, Onazi, Omeruo, and Musa were part of Nigeria’s squad at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil and currently constitute the spine of a young squad inspired to dazzle the world in Russia. Chelsea FC wing-back, Victor Moses, who was also in Brazil 2014, will join the team in London for the Wembley showdown

Ahead of the Saturday’s clash with England, the Eagles are scheduled to train at the Wembley Stadium between 5pm-6pm on Friday, after a pre-match press conference holding at the Stadium’s conference room by 4.15pm.

Saturday’s encounter is the third official match between Nigeria and England, with considerable historical affinity. It is expected to kick-off at about 5.15pm.

In the meantime, it has been confirmed that Eagles’ forward Moses Simon, earlier ruled out of the World Cup finals due to injury, will undergo further medical checks in the United Kingdom to ascertain the seriousness of his injury.
