2019: Group Pays N45m for Buhari’s nomination Forms
A group known as The Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN), a pro-Muhammadu Buhari organisation, on Wednesday obtained the presidential election nomination forms on behalf of the president who is currently in China for FOCAC.
Though the major backers for the group are still unknown, but sources allege that the group is heavily backed by Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State who is currently owing public workers salary arrears of 11 months and 18-month pension arrears.
The group paid the mandatory N45 million for the expression of interest and the nomination form. The sum of N40 million is the form and the N5 million for the expression of interest.
The cheque was received by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, in Abuja.
