Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), has declared that the rejection of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) and electronic transmission of results by the All Progressives Congress (APC), has National Chairman of APC has proved and vindicated that its (CUPP) intelligence report was spot on.
National Chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, had while addressing a delegation of the Commonwealth Pre-Election Team led by Ms. Abiola Sunmonu at the National Headquarters of the Party, expressed reservations about the deployment of the BVAS and IREV, saying that the technology will be hampered by the failure of the Federal Government to provide stable electricity in many parts of the country and absence of internet network with which to transmit the results.
Reacting to the position of the National Chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the CUPP said that now the leadership of the ruling Party has come out in the open in rejecting the BVAS and electronic transmission of results, it has clearly shown that the APC only prepared to rig the 2023 general elections.

These were contained in a statement by the Spokesperson of the Coalition, Mr. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, who said that the CUPP exposed the rigging plans of the APC ahead, stressing that the ruling Party has now resolved for a full onslaught on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC’s) Chairman and not to spare any resource in ensuring that Prof. Mamood Yakubu is removed from office.
The CUPP further said; “Our intelligence was spot on, we have been vindicated yet again but, these enemies of Nigeria are not letting go.
“Their only hope of winning the election is by massively rigging the process and they know with the BVAS, electronic transmission of results and the INEC Election Result Viewing Portal (IREV), they stand no chance as Nigerians have rejected the party completely.
“Their focus now is on removal of the INEC Chairman by any means necessary,” it said.
CUPP commended Nigerians for agreeing that the APC will lose the election woefully as they do not mean well for the country.
According to the CUPP; “Moving from the poor performance of President Muhammadu Buhari to the worse performance promised by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be like jumping from frying pan into fire and Nigeria and Nigerians cannot afford that at all”.
